Social media has assembled it easier than ever to compare yourself to others, making even a sunny day look like a dark and gloomy one. It’s safe to say that if you’re feeling down on yourself, Instagram isn’t going to help.

Instead of comparing your life to others’ highlight reels, focus on your happiness. This will improve your mood and make you more productive at work and increase your quality of life overall.

4.  Not giving yourself enough time to get ready

We’ve all been there. You’re ready to go, can’t find your keys, or didn’t have time to dry your hair. If you don’t leave yourself enough time in the morning, it will cause stress and unhappiness, but it will also affect your work performance that day. Give yourself at least 30 minutes of extra time to get out of the house on time. If something does happen, you still have plenty of time to fix it!
